What's changed in each version of TeioStep. The version in the sidebar footer matches the latest entry.
v1.9.0
Sep 22, 2026Added
- Top aces can now be marked on a Champions Meeting writeup. A badge in the corner of an uma's icon flags it as hard to build or names its role (runaway or debuffer), and hovering or tapping the warning opens a panel saying why: which aptitudes still need raising, with the grade the uma has on each, plus a note for the reasons that are not an aptitude.
- Career events that unlock behind race results now show those races on the event, with the banner, when each one runs, and whether your career already forces it on you. A link opens the Race Planner in a new tab with the uma picked and the races placed, and it never overwrites the plan you were already working on.
Changed
- A career event's required races are now grouped under headings that say what to do with them, so alternatives ("Win either") are visible as a set instead of being described in a sentence that then repeated every race name.
Fixed
- T.M. Opera O's "Senior Autumn Triple Crown Achieved!" now reads as the Autumn Triple Crown within one year, as the game gates it, instead of senior-only. Its planner link no longer forces the three races into Year 3.
- Clicking a character from the CM planner's top aces (or from a skill's character sources) no longer lands on a blank page.
- Editing a Champions Meeting's honorable mentions now shows up in that meet's History, so the change can be reviewed and restored like any other. Mention-only edits used to leave no entry at all.
- Support cards named in a Champions Meeting's honorable mentions are now tagged when they have not reached the global server yet, the same as everywhere else they appear.
- The Trackblazer epithet list no longer runs off the edge of the screen on a phone. Each epithet's reward and progress now sit on their own line under the name.
- Career event requirements no longer read "Win the Mile Championship or the Mile Championship" when the game lists the same race twice.
- The All / Collection / Owned switch on the Characters and Support Cards pages no longer cuts off the word "Collection" on a phone.
- A skill page's opening description now counts the cards that grant it, not the ways they grant it. A card teaching the same skill both innately and through an event was being counted twice, so the sentence disagreed with the lists below it.
- Opening an upcoming card no longer announces "unreleased content is now shown" when you already had it switched on. The notice now appears only when opening the card actually turns the setting on for you.
v1.8.0
Sep 17, 2026Added
- Champions Meeting writeups can list honorable mentions. Below the example decks, a meet can now name the support cards still worth considering, grouped per running style, per uma, or both, each with a short note, the skills it brings, and a reason captioned over the card art. Editors add them from the meet's edit view.
- The "show unreleased" toggle now reveals upcoming umas too, not just upcoming support cards: 153 characters that are on the JP server but not yet on global, with their art, aptitudes, stat bonuses and career events, and their cards listed on the skill pages that grant them. Skills that only exist on JP are left off until they reach global.
Changed
- Sorting characters or support cards by Newest now runs as one timeline: with unreleased content shown, the upcoming cards lead in the order they came to the JP server, and the latest global releases follow. Before, upcoming cards were split between the top and the bottom of the list.
- Upcoming umas now use the game's own framed icon instead of a plain cutout, so they look the same as everyone else in a list. Upcoming support cards show their real card art too, and unreleased cards without their own artwork fall back to their icon rather than a blank space.
- Unreleased cards are now marked wherever they appear, not just in the browsers. The skill pages' "granted by" lists, the other-versions and support-card lists, the Champions Meeting ace and parent grids, Aim for the Stars, and the deck and training-sim slots all ring the card and tag it.
- The "show unreleased" switch now sticks while you browse. It used to reset every time a page reloaded, and it survives a refresh now, though a new tab still starts on released-only. Opening an unreleased card from somewhere that links one, like a Champions Meeting entry or a deck slot, turns it on for you and says so, so the card's other versions, support cards and career events no longer vanish under it.
Fixed
- Unreleased support cards now show their icon and their title instead of a blank space and a bare character name. Cards that are still Japanese-only show the Japanese title until an English one exists.
v1.7.3
Sep 15, 2026Added
- Racetrack course pages and the Champions Meeting track panel now show the stats that course rewards, so you can see at a glance whether it favours Stamina, Power, Guts and so on before you build for it.
v1.7.2
Sep 5, 2026Added
- Icon-only buttons now announce themselves to screen readers. Delete, close, collapse and play/pause buttons across the planner, deck builder, character filters and CM tools carry a proper label, and the destructive ones show a tooltip on hover too.
- The race planner's turn squares and the site's icons now read properly on a screen reader. Every empty turn on the planner grid announces which turn it is instead of just "button", and the skill, uma and stat icons that sit beside their own name are skipped rather than read out as unnamed images.
Changed
- Pages you are not signed in for now say so. Opening an admin-only page while signed out gives a "sign in to open this page" notice instead of an empty shell.
Fixed
- The "Choose files" buttons are back on every import. Roster imports, veteran screenshot imports and bundle imports had no visible file picker, so there was no way to start them.
- Race Planner's Scheduled list is usable on a phone. The race banner in each scheduled row rendered at full size, pushing the race name, turn label and remove button off the edge of the screen. The banner is now sized correctly, so every row fits and races can be removed again.
v1.7.1
Sep 4, 2026Added
- Captured legacy umas now carry the rest of what the game's Umamusume Details window says about the run: the career scenario, the date acquired, the fans earned, whether it ran on Independent Training, the memo and the mark, and which legacy parent was borrowed. The uma card shows them, with the mark drawn as the game's own icon over the portrait, the pedigree marks a borrowed parent as Guest, and the uma editor lets you change them by hand, picking a mark by its icon.
- Every uma portrait on the site now stands in front of the scenery the game itself draws behind her card, softly blurred so the art stays in front: the character browser and detail page, the veteran cards, the roster ingest, the aptitude picker and the search results. Every card has its own, alternate costumes included.
Changed
- Sharing a character link now previews the art in front of its in-game scenery, matching the tiles on the site, rather than a cut-out portrait floating on whatever background the app pasting it uses.
v1.7.0
Aug 31, 2026Added
- Right pressing a career in the capture app's library opens a menu for it: view it, check or edit it, export it, read it off its screenshots again, show its screenshots folder, or delete it. With several careers ticked, a right press on one of them acts on the whole selection and every entry says so with "[3 selected]"; a right press anywhere else acts on that one career and leaves the ticks alone. Delete reads in red there, and both deletes now ask through a dialog rather than by the button turning into its own confirmation.
- The capture app can shoot the whole support card list on its own: open the list, press Capture support roster, and it scrolls to the bottom saving screenshots ready for the roster import on the site. It sets the list's sort to Rarity first so every run walks the same order (a Settings checkbox turns that off).
- The search box now offers completions for
has:. Typingh/ha/hasoffers to complete the keyword, andhas:plus a few letters previews the matching skills so you can pick one with the arrow keys and Enter, or a click. - Search by the skill a card teaches. Type
has:cornerin the search box to list every uma and support card that grants a matching skill. Add a name to narrow it, liketeio has:corner, or stack terms (has:corner has:recovery) to find the cards that teach both. - Global search now finds racetracks and Champions Meetings. Type a venue like "Nakayama" (or a race run there) to open its courses, and "cm17" or a meet's name to jump straight to that meeting. New Track and CM tabs let you filter to just those.
- Build Your Roster has an "Import an app export" button beside the screenshot importer: drop in the resolved roster file the capture app now writes and it applies straight away, no screenshots needed.
- Importing a support roster from screenshots now warns when the result would hold fewer cards than the game's own "Held" count says you own, so a row skipped by scrolling too far between shots doesn't go unnoticed.
- Veterans has an Export button: it saves your records to one file, and the capture app can import that file. Careers it reads afterwards link their legacy parents to records you already have instead of adding a new one for every career.
- Searching a legacy slot for an uma you have no record of now ends in creating one, carrying that uma, instead of an empty list. The umas are listed under whatever records matched, so a record existing for that uma no longer hides the option to make another.
- Veterans can be shared: press Share on a veteran and anyone with the link sees that record, its stats, deck, skills and pedigree, read-only. The link is the one you already had, your later edits show up on it, and pressing Share again makes it private.
- The Parent tab's inheritance card now has a search box that marks the white sparks matching what you type, and opens on the All view so every spark is listed under the uma that carries it.
Changed
- The capture app's career window rounds the uma icon the way the library rows do instead of cropping it to a circle, and the rating sits in its own box with the rank spelled out beside the badge.
- Its Inspiration list drops the icons off the spark pills, the way the game's own list has them, and shows the green unique spark for the trainee and for every legacy parent.
- The capture app's library list sorts by rating, name or date added, opens a career on a double press anywhere on its row, and marks the careers still wanting a look with a filled Check button. The row icons are square again rather than cropped to circles.
- The buttons under the library are two groups on one line instead of six that wrapped: the resolve on the left, what the ticked careers can have done to them on the right, and reading every career again, importing records and re-admitting a folder behind a "..." menu beside them. Export and delete say how many they would take.
- Icons and card art in the capture app are sharp on a scaled display. Every image decoded to one small size no matter how large it was about to be drawn, which the details header showed worst.
- Prev and Next moved out of the details header down beside Back to library, so the walk through a roster sits with the other way out of a career.
- Capture app: the Run tab split into Veteran and Roster tabs, each with its own status panel and log. Runs now show a progress bar, elapsed time and pace; the support roster run reads the held count off the game's bottom bar and shows a real shot count and time-left estimate, and its finish line says what was read (cards by rarity, problems to check) instead of only where the files went. The app also brings itself back to the front when a run finishes.
- The capture app download is one exe now,
TeioStep-Capture.exe. The zip used to unpack 273 files and two programs with no hint which to open; it is the exe, the licence notices, and thecapture.jsonandcapturesfolder it makes for itself on first use. - The Capture download page now shows whatever builds are actually published, with the newest as the download button and the ones it replaced tucked under "Older versions", each with its own checksum. A new release appears on the page by itself, so the version and file size shown are always the real ones.
- Character, support card, skill and racetrack pages now have readable URLs (e.g.
/skills/200331-professor-of-curvature) instead of a bare id. Old links still work and redirect to the new address. - Character and support card pages now carry the written summary in its own "About" card under the artwork, instead of a loose paragraph above the page.
- Reading a career off a screenshot now fills in the record you already had for that uma from a pedigree slot, instead of adding a second copy of it beside the first. The parent slots pointing at it show the full career from then on.
- A legacy parent the reader found but could not make anything of no longer becomes an empty record. The slot is left blank instead, so a roster of careers stops collecting one nameless uma per career.
- A legacy parent whose uma could not be identified is now recognised by its sparks, so several careers naming the same one share a record instead of each adding their own copy.
- A career whose Inspiration list was captured across a scroll boundary could lose its second legacy parent to an empty block the reader closed on the boundary. Both parents are recorded now, so pedigrees that share a grandparent join up instead of stopping one generation short.
- Veteran records no longer need to be shared before a link works. Any link you copy opens for whoever you give it to, and stepping through a lineage into a parent or grandparent now lands on that record instead of a dead end.
Fixed
- Review rows in the capture app now show the whole screenshot crop, scaled to fit, instead of cutting it off at the edge of the column.
- The crop beside a review row is now exactly the pixels the reader read, with nothing around it, so a sliver of the neighbouring line no longer shows up sliced through the crop's edge.
- A review row's crop is now shown at the reader's own crop and aspect, scaled as a whole to fit the column rather than padded, floored to a minimum height or squared off, so a box that clipped a name looks clipped in the preview too.
- A spark row's crop now covers its star row as well as its name, which is what the reader decided the row on, so a miscounted star is visible in the preview instead of sliced off it.
- Card summaries and the character page title no longer double-wrap the costume name, so it reads "Daitaku Helios [Sunlit Angel]" instead of "Daitaku Helios ([Sunlit Angel])".
- Support cards in an imported career are matched off the right pixels. The reader was looking for the deck tiles a fraction of a percent further down and across the window than the game draws them, which is invisible to the eye but most of the margin the match has to work with.
- Support cards in an imported career are recognised far more reliably. A tile whose card was identified correctly could still land in the review list asking to be confirmed, because the screenshot's deck row sits a pixel or two off where it is looked for and the match was scored down to nothing. Each tile is now compared at a spread of samples, which absorbs the drift.
- Fixed
has:search results dropping every matching uma when the query also had a support-only word in it (likespd has:corner) - the uma side now ignores support type/rarity words it has no use for. - On phones the search dropdown's filter tabs now sit in an even three-by-two grid, instead of leaving Track and CM stretched across a row of their own.
- Capture app: reading a career again off its own screenshots now goes through the same step the capture itself uses, so the only thing that can make the two disagree is the picture each was handed. A reread used to make its own decisions about which parts of a frame to read and whether to trust a frame cropped through the window, and could come back with a different answer than the capture had.
- The support roster import no longer asks about the row lying under the Held bar: a screenshot's edge row whose cards read damaged is dropped, since the next screenshot carries it readable.
- Screenshot import stops flagging three things it was reading wrong. A rating whose pill has the portrait art showing through it (17,292 came back as 172921), a costume title ending in a number like Gold City's
[Authentic / 1928], and a unique spark whose name ends in a star, such as Victoria por plancha. - Capture app: a career can be read again off its own screenshots, from the library's overflow menu. The existing reread only redid what comes off the pixels, so a career already captured kept whatever its capture made of a name or a number.
- A unique skill no longer comes back with its level stuck to its name ("Operation Cacao" was read as "OperationCacaovl"), and the uma's name is no longer read with the bottom of the costume title above it. Both rows used to land in the review list for someone to confirm by hand.
- Sparks read off several screenshots of one Inspiration list no longer come back twice, and a spark whose stars were cut off at the bottom of one screenshot no longer overrules the screenshot that shows the whole row. Near the end of a long list the scrollbar could not say precisely enough where a screenshot sat, so the same row was sometimes recorded as two, one of them starless.
- Styles no longer come from an old cached version after a site update - the browser now fetches fresh CSS whenever it changed.
- A saved career linked as a legacy parent can no longer have its sparks changed from the lineage view. Editing there wrote through to that career itself, so a slip while picking a parent rewrote what the parent passes down. Its row now opens the career instead, and the slots you created for a pedigree stay editable in place.
v1.6.1
Aug 22, 2026Added
- The Capture App is now downloadable from the Capture App page: a Windows program that reads your retired umas off the game's own details window and exports a file this site imports in one action. Read the Safety tab before running it.
- Champions Meeting writeups can carry a short note under the top aces, for what a tier list alone cannot say (which running styles the track favours, for example).
- Track overlays now model skills that wait on other skills. Pick something like Festive Miracle (three recoveries first) and the track page offers a "simulate skill activation requirements" toggle: its zone is solid where your picked skills guarantee the requirement, hatched where it depends on an rng or wit check landing, and left as an outline where it cannot fire yet. Clicking the zone spells out how many of your picks can feed it and from which metre.
- The track page takes a Wit stat and prices the activation roll with it: every skill shows what its chance to actually trigger is, and a skill waiting on others multiplies that through its feeders' rolls too.
- Those odds are read per stretch of track, so hovering a band on the overlay tells you the chance to trigger from that point on. It climbs as more of the skills feeding it have had their roll.
Changed
- The privacy policy now has a Capture App section: what the app reads, what reaches the site when it fetches icons, and what happens to screenshots you import.
v1.6.0
Aug 22, 2026Added
- New Capture App page explaining the Windows companion app that reads your retired umas off the game's own details window: what it does, how to use it, what it does and does not touch, and the account risk to weigh before running it. The download itself is not available yet.
- Champions Meeting writeups have a new Notable skills section: skills that are better or worse than usual for the meet, split by running style plus a general column, each with an optional note explaining why.
- Clicking a notable skill on a Champions Meeting writeup opens its details, with its note and a link to the skill page, and skills with an activation zone can be overlaid on the meet's course card.
- Screenshot import now reads the other two tabs of the game's details window: Career Info fills the deck (cards, limit breaks, the friend slot) and the race record, and Inspiration fills the sparks. Scrolled spark screenshots merge by their scrollbar position, so overlapping shots never double a spark, and the two legacy parents can be created as lineage records in the same apply.
- A deck tile the import was not sure about can now be fixed in the Deck Builder's own editor, straight from the review, or vouched for with one click.
- Doubtful sparks in the screenshot import can now be fixed before applying: a marked spark gets a strip to pick the right spark, set its stars, vouch for the read, or leave it out.
- Import a whole roster from the capture app in one action: drop its zip on the Veterans page and every career it read cleanly comes in as a finished record. Careers it was unsure about bring their screenshots along, so you can settle them in the usual review panel before taking them.
- Re-importing the same roster updates the records you already have instead of leaving two of each.
- The "Deck used" card on a veteran's sheet now has an Open button that loads that deck straight into the Deck Builder.
- A veteran now records its lineage: its two parents, each shown with the two umas that parent came from, and the sparks the six of them pass down. Click any branch to open that parent's record. Deleting a record warns you when others have it as a parent.
- A veteran's page has two tabs now. Ace is what you already had. Parent answers the other question: what this uma passes on if you use it as an inheritance parent, pooled from it and its two legacy slots. It totals the blue and pink, counts the whites, and lists every spark either merged with a note of who carried it or grouped under each uma for checking. The uma card stays put across both tabs, and the lineage and deck cards show on both.
- A veteran's own sparks can be recorded from its own page. Before, they could only be typed from the lineage editor of another record that used it as a parent, so a veteran nothing pointed at had no way to record what it passes down.
- Read a veteran off a screenshot. Screenshot an uma's details in the game and the record fills itself in: the uma, its rating, the five stats, all ten aptitude grades and the skills it finished with. The skill list scrolls, so add one screenshot per part you can see and they are read together. Checking it is a glance: the game window sits cropped beside what was read off it, in the same order, and hovering a value points at the pixels it came from. Anything read cleanly is simply taken, so a good set of screenshots is one press; anything doubtful is marked and carries the choice it is actually asking about, and anything unreadable is left out until you say what it was. Start one from From screenshot on the Veterans page, or Import on a record you already have.
- A veteran now records the white sparks it passes down, not just its blue and pink one. Type them where the blue and pink are typed, in the lineage editor: search the spark by name, or by the skill it hints at, so a race spark like "Osaka Hai" turns up under "Standard Distance" too. The star toggle beside the field stays where you put it, and clicking a recorded spark steps its stars round.
- Veterans. A new page for recording retired umas. Press New after a career and fill the record in from the result screen: the uma, its rating with the game's own rank badge, the five stats with their rank letters, the build, the deck that ran it and the skills it finished with. A deck already saved in the Deck Builder loads in one pick instead of six searches.
Changed
- A roster exported by an older version of the capture app still imports. Only a bundle newer than the site is refused now, since an older one is missing what was added since rather than disagreeing with it.
- Screenshot import asks about a skill whose upgrade marker it could not read cleanly, instead of picking a version and applying it silently.
- Correcting a value in the screenshot import now clears its warning, so the "to check" count falls as you work through a read instead of standing still until you apply it.
- Importing a career whose parent is already in your collection now links the existing record into the lineage slot instead of creating a duplicate. A parent counts as the same record when the uma and every spark match.
- The import readout got a cleaner look: deck cards wear their limit break on the picture with a marker for a friend's card, the race record sits beside the deck with a win rate, and each spark block is its own panel with the uma's icon, its coloured sparks in the header and a white count. The import window is also a step narrower.
- Screenshot import shows its results as each picture is read instead of waiting for the whole batch: upload four and the panel fills in four times, newest screenshot selected as it lands. If one fails partway, what was already read stays.
- In the screenshot import, the screenshot pane now stays in view while the read data scrolls, so a value far down the list can still be compared against the picture.
- The screenshot import's skill list is calmer: skills needing a decision come first as single flat rows with the choice right there, doubtful reads without a decision stay ordinary tiles with just a warning badge, and the nested double warning boxes are gone.
- In the screenshot import, a spark the reader was unsure about now carries the warning badge on its pill, so the "to check" count points at something you can actually spot.
- The screenshot import's highlight boxes for the five stats now sit on the numbers themselves instead of the whole cell, and the value pill's border stays out of the read.
- Applying a screenshot import that still has unresolved values now asks first, and says what imports as read and what stays off the record.
- The Inheritance card's "All" view is now drawn like the screenshot import's spark blocks: one boxed block per uma, its blue and pink sparks beside the name, and the white count on the right.
- A veteran's lineage now reads as a pedigree: the two parents sit across the top, the four grandparents across the row below them, joined by lines. Each half keeps its own colour, so it stays clear which grandparents came from which parent.
- Lineage icons now mark an unfinished veteran with a small warning badge instead of a gold dashed outline, and no longer draw a second box around the icon's own frame.
- The Parent tab's lineage card now shows what every ancestor passes down, not just the total. Each of the six umas sits beside its own blue and pink spark, so you can see which parent is carrying the pedigree instead of only what it adds up to. The Ace tab keeps the compact pedigree it had, which is what fits the column it sits in.
- Spark totals now read as filled pills, which tells a sum apart from the sparks it was summed from.
- Spark labels are darker on light backgrounds, which makes the smaller ones readable.
- Veteran screenshot imports read their images roughly twice as fast.
- Screenshot import reads faster and more accurately: fewer skill and spark rows come back needing a manual check, and a full set of screenshots is read in about half the time.
- A legacy record's aptitudes now read as a compact band, one line per Track / Distance / Style group, and the sheet stacks stats, aptitudes and deck down the page instead of sitting the aptitudes beside the deck.
- A veteran's aptitude grades are now typed with a plus/minus stepper on each aptitude instead of a row of toggles with the rest behind a menu. The editor is laid out like the sheet it edits, the grades start at the uma's own, and any one the career moved is highlighted. One button puts the whole sheet back.
- On a veteran's sheet the aptitudes and the deck now sit side by side on a wide screen, and the deck's support cards stay a sensible size instead of being blown up to fill the column.
- A veteran's deck is now picked with the full deck builder, cards dragged from the catalog onto the six slots, instead of six search boxes. Loading a saved deck still works the same way.
- Recording a build aptitude takes two taps: the surface, distance and style are buttons now, and so are the B, A and S grades, with the rest a click away.
- The stats editor is wider, so all five stats sit on one line.
- Every editor is laid out in labelled sections rather than one long form.
- A veteran's skills are listed in the same order the game's career result screen lists them, instead of the order they happened to be typed in.
- The lineage editor now shows the whole pedigree it edits: two boxes, Legacy 1 and Legacy 2, each with that parent's own two slots under it. Grandparents can be filled in without leaving the record you are on.
- A parent you have not recorded yet is made from the slot itself: pick the uma and it exists, linked, ready for its sparks. Backing out is Unlink.
- Each veteran in a lineage carries the blue spark and pink spark it passes down, and the lineage card sums all six ancestors into a roll-up.
- A record with only an uma on it is marked incomplete by what it holds rather than by a flag, so there is no longer anything to mark complete by hand.
- The veteran parent picker now shows each option's total blue and pink sparks, counting that veteran's own parents, instead of only the two sparks it carries itself.
- Recording a veteran's skills is now ticking them off a list instead of searching for each one. The editor is wider, shows three skills across, and marks with a coloured dot every skill this career could actually have produced: from the uma itself, from a card's hints, from a card's events, or as the double-circle a hinted white upgrades into. A gold is not one of those unless something in the career actually granted it, so Tachyon's Medium Corners no longer offers Refraction Arc. Ticking a skill also clears any other version of it you had recorded, since a career that bought No Stopping Me! no longer has Nimble Navigator. One switch narrows the list to just the skills the career could have produced, and another hides what you have already recorded. Enter in the search box records the highlighted skill and the up and down arrows move that highlight through the results, so a run of skills goes in without your hands leaving the keyboard. The separate list of recorded skills is gone: a recorded skill is a ticked tile, and the card behind the editor already shows them all.
Fixed
- Screenshot import now reads S and F aptitudes. Both came back blank before, on every screenshot, because the reader had never been shown either colour and matched a grade by its badge colour.
- Re-importing a capture bundle no longer overwrites a pedigree record you have since filled in as a career of its own.
- Screenshot import now reads phone screenshots and cropped ones. A phone shot is the same window at two or three times the density, which the reader used to mistake for a window sitting a third of a card lower, and a picture whose window runs off the side used to be measured too narrow. Both showed up the same way: wrong aptitude grades, and boxes that did not sit on what they had read. Only a crop deep enough to cut into the skill tiles is still called out as unreliable.
- Reading a deck off a screenshot no longer matches a support card that has not released here. Over half the cards it compared against were unreleased, and two costumes of one uma look alike enough that the wrong one sometimes won a slot.
- Support cards in an imported Career Info screenshot are now identified by the colour of their art rather than by a grayscale hash of it. A deck slot no longer lands on a lookalike card, and the slots that read correctly no longer ask to be confirmed.
- Support cards in the global search now show their square icon instead of a cropped slice of the card art.
- Screenshot import now tells an upgraded skill from its base one. A skill marked with a double circle was being recorded as the single-circle version every time, so imported veterans quietly had the wrong skill against their name.
- Screenshot import no longer duplicates sparks near the bottom of a long Inspiration list. The reader was misjudging how far each screenshot had scrolled, by more the further down it went, so the same spark seen in two shots could be recorded twice.
- Screenshot import no longer flags evolved unique skills and sparks for checking when the star in their name confused the text reader.
- An imported name that is one character out no longer asks to be confirmed when nothing else in the catalogue is close to it. Short names suffered most: one misread letter in "All I've Got" counted for more than the same letter in a long name. A name cut off partway through now matches what it started, instead of being dropped.
- The screenshot import's Screenshots/Read data switch no longer shows on desktop, where both panes are already side by side.
- Screenshot import now recognises a legacy parent by its unique spark directly, so parents with an evolved unique skill no longer show as an unknown uma.
- Screenshot import checks a read rating against the game's own rank ladder, so a rating with a stray extra digit is flagged for review instead of being applied as a real one.
- When the screenshot reader is out of step with the site, the import now says so instead of handing back a career with every field blank.
- Screenshots taken with the skill list scrolled partway no longer read skills off by part of a row, which produced garbled names and highlight boxes sitting between tiles. Each tile is now found by its own edges, so the boxes sit on the tiles exactly and previously missed tiles are read too.
- The screenshot import now reads the circle marker on skill variants at any window size, so families like Pace Chaser Corners resolve to the right rung on their own instead of asking.
- The Inheritance card's Blue and Pink totals no longer come up empty on a veteran whose sparks were named without a star count. Those sparks now read as one star, the fewest the game has.
- Screenshot import flags far fewer rows for you to check. Spark and skill names are read more cleanly, and a name that came through correctly but picked up the level pill, star or circle drawn beside it is now matched outright instead of being held back.
- Stat sparks with short names no longer come back blank. "Wit" in particular was never read at all, and race names like "Satsuki Sho" or "Hopeful S." now keep the space in the middle.
- A Wit spark now resolves to the record's Wisdom slot instead of failing to match anything.
- Skills like "Focus" and "Gatekept" no longer ask you to confirm them. They share an upgrade family but not a name, so the name alone already says which one the screenshot showed.
- Skills whose name wraps onto two lines now have their variant glyph read. The circle after a long name was looked for across both lines and usually missed, so those skills were imported as the plain rung and flagged for review.
- Sparks read off an Inspiration screenshot no longer come out a star short, or with no stars at all. The star row is looked for around where it should sit rather than only on one line, which over a bulk capture corrected 182 counts and filled in 113 that read as nothing.
- Uma icons no longer look squashed. The game asset squeezes them vertically, so every icon on the site is now stretched back to the shape the art was drawn at.
- Veteran pages no longer show the old site name twice in the browser tab.
- An edit to a veteran made just before leaving the page could be lost when the save itself failed. The edit now stays pending and is written on the next attempt.
- Veterans with a rating show their uma again in the collection. The rank badge was being stretched over the whole tile instead of sitting in its corner.
v1.5.2
Aug 12, 2026Changed
- The Champions Meeting schedule now marks every phase the game announces, including the final round's registration and matching windows. Labels alternate above and below the line so the marks no longer print on top of each other.
v1.5.1
Aug 12, 2026Fixed
- Editing a custom theme color no longer occasionally breaks the Settings page. Dragging a color picker could drop the connection and force a reload when the picked color happened to exactly match another color in the same custom theme.
v1.5.0
Aug 12, 2026Added
- The Champions Meeting timeline gained two more stops: Prereg, when Round 2 and league selection both close and the final round opens, and End, when the meet is actually over. Both are the points after which you can no longer enter or race.
- A Discord bot you can add to a server, with lookup commands over the same data as the site:
/uma,/support,/skill,/race,/track,/event,/epithet,/goals,/whohas,/compareand/cm. Replies carry game icons and link back to the matching page, and every lookup takes the same "unreleased" switch the site's toggle uses. - Character, support card and skill pages now open with a short written summary of the card or skill, instead of jumping straight into chips and numbers.
Changed
- The Champions Meeting timeline now spaces its phases by how long they actually last, so the filled bar shows how much of the meet has really gone by. It used to give every phase an equal third, which made the bar look two thirds done the moment Round 2 opened.
- The site is now called TeioStep and lives at
teiostep.net. Every oldumatools.applink keeps working and redirects to the new address, so saved decks, plans and share links are unaffected. The footer now also states plainly that this is a fan project, not affiliated with Cygames. - The site font now loads from the site itself instead of Google Fonts, so pages start drawing sooner and your browser no longer talks to Google to read them.
Fixed
- A Champions Meeting no longer counts as finished the moment its final round opens. It stays the current meet, and keeps its "now" marker, for the whole final race period.
- Champions Meeting schedule timeline: the Round 1 and Round 2 markers sat noticeably left of where they belonged on the bar, so the "now" marker never lined up with the round it was in.
v1.4.0
Aug 9, 2026Changed
- Everything the site runs on now lives on our own hosting. The game data behind characters, supports, skills and races, and the accounts behind saved decks, rosters and race plans, all moved off the third-party services they used to sit on. Nothing looks different day to day. What it buys is that game data can be refreshed when the game updates without waiting for a site update.
- You may be signed out once and need to log in again. The account database moved as part of that, and its sign-in keys were replaced. Nothing you saved is affected: decks, rosters and race plans are all still on your account.
v1.3.0
Aug 4, 2026Added
- Grand Live is now selectable in the training simulator and the card comparison. Its facility base gains match the Unity Cup everywhere except Guts training, which gives more Guts and less Speed/Power.
- The training simulator now lets you pick which Grand Live songs you have learned. The list is searchable and shows each song's jacket and both of its bonuses; the ones that change a training (Training Stat Gain, Friendship Training Effectiveness) feed straight into the board, and a running total sits under the list.
- Building your support card roster now has a "Skip MLB cards" toggle, so cards you already own at max limit break drop out of the queue instead of being asked about again.
Changed
- Uma icons in a champions meeting's ace tierlists and parents grid now lift on hover, making it clear they open the character page.
- The deck share dialog's skill overlay picker is now one search box whose dropdown stays open, so several skills can be toggled on and off in a row instead of one pick at a time. The search can be cleared.
- Picked skills sit three per row instead of one, and clicking one removes it.
- A shared build can now carry 15 skills in total, with up to 6 listed on each card.
- Hovering the share preview reveals a button in its top corner that copies the image itself to the clipboard, for pasting straight into a chat.
- The preview now says when it is still rendering, instead of silently showing the previous image, and waits for you to stop changing settings before redrawing rather than redrawing on every click.
- Popup dialogs now group their contents into outlined cards, the same way the filter dialogs already did, instead of running sections together with a plain divider.
- A page or dialog that hits an unexpected error now shows a small error card in place of the broken part, with a retry button, instead of killing the whole site until you reload.
- Skill source tiles ("From Characters" / "From Support Cards") now match the look of skill tiles, drop the circular crop on character icons, lift on hover, and can be opened in a new tab.
- Filtering by a numeric value now sorts by it too. Add a support-card stat filter (say Fan bonus 20+), or a character aptitude or stat bonus, and the list switches to a new "Filter" sort that puts the biggest first. With several such filters active, the first one leads and the rest break its ties. Sort by is set to "Filter" so it is clear what the order is, and you can switch back to name, rarity or newest at any time.
Fixed
- Champions Meeting writeups on phones: the parents grid becomes one colour-coded card per running style, with its bands listed inside, instead of a sideways-scrolling six-column strip of oversized icons.
- Champions Meeting writeups on phones: the schedule's four dates no longer overlap each other, and the meet banner no longer runs past the edge of the screen.
- The Racetracks link is back in the phone "More" menu. It only appeared while a limited-time event was running, and showed up once per event when several were.
- Opening an activation zone on the track view for a skill with more than one trigger no longer crashes the page. The same crash could hit a support card's "configure unique effects" dialog.
- Character, support card and skill tiles are now real links: middle-click or ctrl-click opens one in a new tab, and right-click can copy its address. Covers the two browse grids, the skill grid and browse list, the unique-skill chip on a character page, and the "other versions" / support-card tiles on the detail pages.
v1.2.1
Aug 1, 2026Added
- New Auto Run Helper page: pick a scenario, an uma and up to six support cards, and see every career event that run can get. Defaults to the events where the option you take decides which skill you walk away with, so you know what to put on your auto-run skill list before starting. Two more views: a plain list of every skill the run's events can reach, and the full event pool. Decks saved in the Deck Builder load in one click.
- Character and support card pages now show their career events (career story, random, secret, and costume/support event chains), with stat/skill rewards and, for secret events, the race or condition that unlocks them.
- An event whose reward changes with how the run went now lists each tier on its own, instead of stacking every tier's rewards into one list that read as if you got all of them. Only rewards the game actually rolls for are labelled as random.
- Event choices now spell out the rewards they used to leave blank: random stats, fans, standard race rewards, objective race changes, status healing, scenario gauges and the rest. Thirteen events that showed an empty choice box now show what they actually give.
- Event choices also show the conditions attached to an outcome ("If Taiki Shuttle is scenario-linked", "At least 60000 fans", "Mood of Good or better").
- Highest-stat and lowest-stat rewards are no longer mistaken for branch labels and dropped.
- New Events page: search every training event by name, across umas, support cards and the career scenarios themselves. Filter by source and section, and open any event to see its choices and rewards.
- Scenario events are new to the site: URA Finale, Unity Cup, Our Grand Concert and Trackblazer now have their own events listed.
Fixed
- Aoharu team names in event choice outcomes now show in English instead of Japanese.
- Career events whose reward is a roll (like Kitasan Black's "Paying It Forward", Speed +5 or +10 with a hint at ×1 or ×3) no longer read as +0. Both figures are shown, and a reward that depends on a named condition shows its base amount with the full wording on hover.
- Support cards for umamusume who aren't playable characters yet, like Tsurumaru Tsuyoshi, now show their random events instead of hiding them as unreleased content.
v1.1.2
Jul 30, 2026Added
- Skill pages now show "Other Versions" - the related white/gold skills in the same family (e.g. Nimble Navigator and No Stopping Me!), so you can jump straight to the upgrade.
v1.1.1
Jul 30, 2026Added
- The Deck Builder now shows a loading skeleton for the six deck slots while a saved deck is being restored, instead of briefly flashing an empty deck before your cards pop in.
- Split deck slots now show the same stat overlay range as regular cards when a stat is picked to badge, instead of hiding it.
Changed
- The Deck Builder's support card picker now loads a page of cards at a time and fetches the next as you scroll, the same as the Support Cards browser, instead of building the whole catalog on every visit.
Fixed
- Dragging a support card now reliably shows that card's icon under the cursor. It could previously show the previously dragged card's icon, fall back to the full-size card art, or on Firefox show nothing at all.
- Shared deck images now show the granted skill from every option of a split slot (starred when not every option grants it), instead of only the first option's.
- Support card effects that used to show as a bare number ("Effect 101", "Effect 109") now say what they do. Conditional unique effects use the game's own wording, so cards like Ikuno Dictus and Maruzensky read "Training Effectiveness based on total Friendship of cards in deck" instead of a placeholder.
- Light Hello's unique effect is now described instead of showing as an unknown special effect.
- The upcoming support cards behind the "show unreleased" toggle now label their initial skill point bonus.
v1.1.0
Jul 29, 2026Added
- Champions Meeting planner (
/cm): a per-meet writeup with the real course layout and its conditions, the round schedule in your local time, key greens, top aces per running style, a recommended-inheritance grid, stat targets and example decks. The nav lists every meet, and the home page links to the current one. - A meet's example decks are real decks: actual cards with limit breaks, split slots, placeholders and a borrow slot, plus the style they suit and the inheritance they need. Import a saved deck, whatever is open in the builder, or a share code, or build one in the editor. Opening one in the Deck Builder gets you a copy, never the meet itself.
- Meet editing now needs an Editor or Admin role. Admins grant roles from a new Manage Roles page. Edits autosave, and closing the tab mid-edit warns first.
- Every meet keeps a History of who changed what and when. Open any past version read-only, step through it, restore in one click.
- Racetracks (
/tracks): all 108 courses grouped by venue, filtered by surface, distance, direction, race grade and slopes, and searchable by course or by a race held on it. Tiles show corners, climb, and the races that course holds. - Skill activation overlays per track. Pick skills and see where they fire. Only skills that can fire there are offered, and zones follow the game's four race phases: last-spurt skills (Full Speed!, Eyes on the Goal) get their own band, backstretch skills stay on the backstretch, second-half ones (Radiant Star, Dauntless) cover only the second half, and greens with no position are marked "Always active". Click a zone for exact distances, conditions and effects. Picks are kept per track.
- Decks can carry a note, saved with the deck and carried in its share link.
- Deck slots can be split, pencilled i or borrowed. Give a slot up to five alternatives and they sit side by side. Pencil a type onto an empty slot as a note to yourself; it never blocks a drop. The borrow slot is marked by a pink heart pill, can sit on any slot, and can be left off.
- Split options, pencilled types and the borrow slot survive a save and a share link. Links shared before this change still open as they did.
- The deck's skill list shows which card grants each skill, as card icons on every skill.
- Share opens a dialog with a live preview of the image your link will show: pick a card overlay, toggle the limit-break label, the Unreleased chip and the note. The left half of the button still copies a link straight away.
- Card overlay is Stats or Skills, not both: up to 3 stats as before, or up to 8 hint/event skills your cards grant, shown on matching cards and listed below them.
- The shared image draws split slots as wedges, framed and overlaid like filled slots. The card count is a type breakdown by icon, with a range where a slot's type isn't settled yet.
Changed
- Deck slots keep their position. Removing a card leaves that slot empty, and dropping one no longer shuffles the rest. The "Card fill behavior" setting is gone with it.
- Dragging onto a filled slot shows two drop zones: green Add option keeps both cards as a split, red Replace swaps it out (a split confirms first). No mode toggle to set beforehand.
- Dragging reads better: the cursor carries the small card icon instead of full card art, only the slot under it highlights, and the "no drop" cursor no longer flickers between slots.
- Each slot's footer pairs the limit-break picker with a one-click borrow toggle. A split slot opens the slot editor instead, so its cards' limit breaks and removals stay reachable.
- On phones, tapping a slot opens a full-screen editor instead of cramming a dropdown into a 90px card. Deck cards no longer pretend to be draggable there.
- A full deck no longer greys out the picker; drag a card onto a slot to replace or join it. The builder now says why a card was refused instead of doing nothing.
- Split slots are drawn inside the game's card frame at the slot's rarity, with the cards inside unframed, cropped toward the uma's face and zoomed only as far as the split needs.
- Stats from split slots show as a min-max range, since no one line-up hits every best at once. A pencilled slot shows the range its type could bring.
- The Characters, Support Cards and Skills pages hold their filters and results in a card, with the search row staying put while the results scroll.
- The notice about data that still needs migrating moved from every page to a "Your data" section in Settings, where it also says when you are already up to date.
- Pages load noticeably faster when signed in: that check read your decks, rosters and plans one key at a time, and now reads them in a single pass. The color scheme does the same.
Fixed
- Saving a deck can no longer wipe the decks you already had. If the list can't be read, it is left alone and the save is reported as failed.
- The Deck Builder opens much faster with cards in it: slot art loads at the size it is drawn at, and no longer blocks the page while it decodes.
- Support card tiles line up with the card art everywhere, so the tile background stops poking past the frame and the corners stop cutting into the rarity and type badges.
- A saved light color scheme no longer flashes the default blue theme on every page load.
- Opening any dialog no longer jerks the page sideways.
- The changelog page no longer fails to load. Two releases had been given the same version number, which stopped the whole page from rendering.
v1.0.0
Jul 18, 2026Added
- The Characters browser can filter by stat bonus. Add a stat in the filter dialog and pick a minimum (any, 10%, 15%, 20% or 30%) to narrow the list to umas whose training bonus for that stat reaches it. Match reason shows each card's actual bonus.
- Sign in with Discord: the login page now offers a "Continue with Discord" button as an alternative to a username and password. Your first Discord sign-in creates an account named from your Discord handle.
- Added Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages, linked from the sidebar footer and the mobile "More" menu.
- A startup notice when you have data to bring across. If something is left under an older format (a roster or race plans from before an update) or saved only on this device while you're signed in, a banner points it out with a single "Migrate & upload" button. Nothing is touched until you press it, and it stays out of the way once everything is on your account.
- You can now track the umas you own. Mark a character as owned and at what star rank, the same way support cards already work. Set it from a character's page, or run through the whole roster quickly on the new Build Your Uma Roster page (Characters → Build my uma roster).
- The Characters browser can show your collection. The All / Collection / Owned switch marks the umas you own with their star rank, greys the ones you're missing, or hides everything you don't own.
- Uma rosters can be named, saved and shared. Settings has its own Uma Roster section with a share code you can move between devices, separate from the support-card roster.
- You can create an account and sign in. Sign in from the sidebar (or the "More" menu on phones) with a username and password, no email needed. Your saved decks, race plans, and rosters then live on your account and follow you to another device, and anything you had already saved in this browser comes with you the first time you sign in. What you're still working on - the deck you're building, the plan you're clicking out, a roster you haven't saved yet - stays on this device until you save it. Staying signed out keeps working exactly as before, with everything saved in the browser. Note there is no password reset yet, so pick a password you'll remember.
Changed
- Settings and signing in now live together in one account menu. The bottom of the sidebar (and the "More" menu on phones) used to list Settings and Sign in as separate rows. They're now behind a single row that shows your username once you're signed in.
- Rosters save themselves. The Save button is gone: marking a card owned, changing a limit break or a star rank is kept the moment you do it. Switching rosters, starting a new one or loading another no longer warns you about losing changes, because there are none to lose. Decks and race plans still work the way they always have, where you name and save the ones you want to keep.
- Each roster shows when you last changed it. The Settings list says "142 cards · edited 3 days ago", so it's obvious which one you've actually been using. Renaming a roster doesn't count as changing it.
- Rosters from the old version aren't lost. If you'd set one up before, it shows in Settings as its own row marked "from the old version" with a Migrate button. One tap copies it into a normal roster (uploaded to your account when you're signed in); nothing is touched until you ask.
- Settings is split into General and Rosters. Appearance and Deck Builder preferences sit under General; your rosters get a tab of their own, so neither is a long scroll.
- Settings now lists your rosters instead of one form per roster. Support cards and umas sit side by side, and every roster is a row: the one you're using is marked, the rest are one Use away, and Rename, Duplicate, Share and Delete sit in each row's menu. The name box, the saved-roster dropdown and the always-visible share code are gone.
- You can keep several rosters and switch between them. New starts an empty one, Duplicate copies an existing one, and the rest stay exactly as you left them.
- Every roster can be renamed and shared individually. Previously only the roster in use had a share code, and renaming meant retyping its name and saving over it.
- The Skills browser no longer marks skills as "Updated" or "New" from the last game update. Those flags had gone stale; they will come back with the next update.
- Event pages now run on a schedule: they show up in the nav while the event is live and disappear once it ends, so the sidebar only ever lists events you can still play.
- The Aim for the Stars tracker has been retired now that the event is over.
Fixed
- Your roster of owned cards and umas now follows your account instead of staying on one device. Edit it while signed in and the change shows up on your other browsers and your phone. Signing in for the first time carries the roster you already built up with you.
v0.17.0
Jul 14, 2026Added
- Training Debug now models the Aoharu (Unity Cup) scenario: set the number of lit flames, how many scenario-linked team members are participating, and whether the training triggers a Spirit Explosion (normal or Extreme burst), and the tile gains update to match
- Training Debug can now add plain NPCs to a tile (each a +5% training-effectiveness bonus, like URA's Happy Meek), for scenarios where random team members share your training
- On the Compare page, support cards with a special conditional effect (fan count, bond, deck makeup, facility, and similar) now fold that effect into their card-effect rows and training gains, assuming the best case by default. A "special effect" button on each such card opens the same configure dialog as the support details page, so you can set the situation and watch the totals update.
- The training simulator now models Make a New Track items. Pick a megaphone (Coaching +20%, Motivating +40%, Empowering +60%) to boost every facility, and toggle Speed / Stamina / Power / Guts ankle weights (+50% each) that boost only their own facility and stack, and the tile gains update to match.
- Support cards with special conditional unique effects (fan count, bond, deck makeup, facility, and similar) now spell out what each effect does, and a Configure button lets you set the situation (pre-filled with the best case) to fold the resulting bonus into the stat totals. Effects that scale with energy or total bond are marked as estimates.
- Support card pages now show the card's unique effect above its training effects, with the character level it unlocks at, and a toggle that folds its bonus into the stat totals below. The boosted stats are highlighted in gold, kept visually separate from the limit-break comparison, and the unique effect only counts once the previewed limit break reaches its unlock level - so raising a card past that level shows the bonus turning on.
- The Training Simulator has a new capture mode (turn it on from the page's settings menu): type in the stat gains the game actually showed for each training and see them next to the tool's numbers, so you can spot exactly where a training differs. In the Unity Cup the flame and Spirit Explosion burst gains share one combined scenario field (the way the game shows them together), and everything about the tile - your cards, mood, growth, team NPCs and flames/bursts - is captured so the numbers can be pinned down over time
- The support card pickers on Training Debug now show each card's icon in the dropdown and search with the same smart matching ("sunday pwr", "ntr") as the browse pages
- Training Debug now has a checkbox for URA Finale's Happy Meek NPC bonus, so the sim can match tiles where she's present without affecting other scenarios
- Training Simulator: a "Clear board" button lifts every card off the trainings at once (they stay in your deck), so you don't have to drag them back one by one.
- New Training Simulator page: pick your uma, scenario and a deck of up to six support cards (or load one you saved in the Deck Builder), set each facility's level and your mood, then drag your cards onto the five trainings to see the exact stat gains each one would give this turn
- Toggle any card as a rainbow (friendship) training to fold in its friendship bonus
- Scenario pieces sit beside the deck: in URA Finale, drag Happy Meek onto a training for her +5% training-effectiveness bonus; in the Aoharu Cup, drag as many team NPCs onto trainings as you like
- In the Aoharu Cup, cycle each support card and NPC on a tile through Flame, Burst and Extreme Burst to build up the tile's flames and Spirit Explosion, and see the resulting gains update per training
- Each training now reads out its stats side by side, with the flat scenario bonus (an Aoharu Spirit Explosion burst) shown as its own figure under the base gain, the way the in-game training screen splits them
Changed
- The Aoharu training tile now splits its gains the way the game does. The base row shows just the training gain and the bonus row shows the flame plus Spirit Explosion burst together, matching the values shown in the capture inputs. Previously the flame bonus was folded into the base row.
- In the card comparison table, the background bars now always show each card's value, even when a baseline is set. Cards below the baseline no longer get a misleadingly long bar; a dashed line marks the baseline's level so you can see surplus vs deficit at a glance.
- Rarity and type filters on the support card lists now sit right above the grid for one-tap access on desktop, instead of being tucked inside the Filters dialog. On phones they stay in the dialog to save space.
- Training Debug is now one page. The separate test-data page is gone: build the whole training tile in one place, with as many support cards as you like. Search a card to add it, then each shows its card art with its own limit break and rainbow toggle. Every facility shows the uma-only gain, the gain with the tile's supports, and the difference
- Training Debug has a collapsible "Expected stats and test case" section: type in the gains the game actually showed and it diffs them against the sim, then hands you a ready-to-paste test case - one at a time or batched up
- The Training Simulator's controls got a polish pass: each facility's level is now a one-tap 1-5 picker instead of a dropdown, the Unity Cup flame/spirit button on each tile is bigger and lights up in its colour, the card picker no longer shrinks when a search returns only a few cards, and capture mode has an "Autofill computed" button that fills in the tool's numbers for you to adjust
- The Training Simulator's layout is tidier: the uma and scenario pickers are more compact, the support deck and scenario pieces line up at the top without a big empty gap under a short deck, and the whole page now lays out properly on phones
- In Unity Cup capture mode you enter the training gain and one combined scenario bonus (flame plus Spirit Explosion), matching how the game shows them together rather than splitting flame and burst apart
Fixed
- Aoharu flame (spirit) training gains are now accurate on strong tiles. The flame trainee bonus is added as a flat amount on top of the training result instead of being multiplied along with it, so tiles with lots of supports or high friendship no longer overstate the flame bonus. Weaker tiles are unchanged.
- Aoharu tiles no longer over-count "scenario-linked" bonuses. Every fired-up support on a tile was wrongly adding +1 to every stat, inflating the shown gains. That bonus belongs only to specific Aoharu team support cards, so fired-up supports now add nothing extra and the tile totals match the game.
- Aoharu training tiles with several Spirit Explosions at once now add up correctly. When more than one team member bursts on the same training, each is now counted at its own intensity (a normal burst on the normal values, an Extreme burst on the higher ones) and the two are summed, instead of scoring every member at the strongest tier. Tiles that mix a normal and an Extreme burst no longer overstate the gains, matching the game. Single-burst tiles are unchanged.
- Aoharu Spirit Explosion gains are corrected. A burst now adds the facility's secondary stat (a Speed burst adds Power, a Stamina one adds Guts) instead of crediting it to skill points, and an Extreme burst now gives its bigger bonus instead of being scored the same as a normal burst - so burst tiles show the right stats gaining by the right amounts. Every Extreme burst now grants 15 skill points (not 10), and a Wit burst grants its full Wit gain, matching real captures.
- Aoharu Cup training gains are correct. The compare page now uses Aoharu's own base training table from the game data: its Stamina and Power trainings give a little more than Make a New Track, and its skill-point gains are higher.
- Aoharu Wit training gains at high flame counts are no longer understated. With four or five flames on a Wit training, the flame bonus to the Wit stat was a couple of points low. It now matches the game (the Wit flame bonus tracks the skill-point bonus: 4 at four flames, 6 at five). Lower flame counts are unchanged.
- The support card and uma search dropdowns no longer show two scrollbars side by side
- Support cards with a facility- or bond-dependent special ability (e.g. Maruzensky's per-facility-level bonus, El Condor Pasa's per-support bonus, Taiki Shuttle/Sakura Bakushin O/Sirius Symboli's high-bond bonuses, Narita Top Road's fan bonus, Ikuno Dictus's team-bond bonus) now count toward training gains on the training tiles, deck stats, and card comparison, instead of being silently ignored
- Support card training effects now show the correct value at each limit break. Stats that scale between level breakpoints (like Specialty Priority, Initial Power, Race Bonus) are interpolated to the card's actual max level per limit break, matching the in-game and gametora figures, instead of showing the lower breakpoint's value.
- Training Simulator: a support card's friendship (rainbow) training bonus now only applies on its own specialty facility (a Speed card rainbows on Speed, and so on). Pal and Group cards, which have no specialty, still count as friendship training wherever you place them.
- The training tile calculator now accounts for scenario support NPCs (starting with URA Finale's Happy Meek, who grants a flat Training Effectiveness bonus) instead of undercounting stat and skill point gains on tiles where one is present
v0.16.0
Jul 8, 2026Added
- Compare Support Cards. A new tool (Tools -> Compare Cards) lines up to 7 support cards side by side so you can weigh them against each other. Each card has its own limit-break selector (or set them all at once), every training effect it provides shows as a row with the best value in each row highlighted, and each card's hint and event skills are listed underneath. Toggle "All effects" to also show effect types a card lists but doesn't currently provide. Your comparison is kept for the browser session, and the Share button copies a link that reopens the exact same line-up.
- Support compare: each card column now has a "Compare to" button that sets it as the baseline. Every other column then shows its stat difference against that card (green if higher, red if lower) instead of the best-value highlight. Click the active baseline again to clear it.
- You can now drag a card's image in the comparison to rearrange the columns, like the deck builder.
- You can now add the same support card to a comparison more than once, so you can line up the same card at different limit break levels side by side.
- Installing the site to your phone's home screen now shows a proper app icon (with maskable and Apple touch-icon variants) instead of a screenshot of the page.
Changed
- When comparing support cards against a baseline, each stat cell now shows the card's actual value alongside the change (e.g. "30 (+10)") instead of just the difference.
- The support card comparison picker is now built into the page (in a fixed two-column layout like the Deck Builder) instead of a pop-up dialog, so it opens instantly and adding cards is immediate. The comparison sits on the left and the card picker on the right; on narrow screens they stack with the comparison on top.
- Support compare: the limit-break selector is now more compact and sits next to the remove button on one row, and the card art is smaller so columns take up less horizontal space.
- Compare works much better on phones: the training controls open from an "Options" button, the card picker opens as a full-screen panel, and the comparison table is slimmed right down so around six cards fit on screen without scrolling sideways. Tap a card in the table to swap it out in place.
- On phones each card column is now just its art, name, and current limit break, so the columns stay slim and around six cards fit without scrolling sideways. Tap a card to open its settings, where you pick its limit break, set it as the comparison baseline, or replace and remove it. Row labels no longer break mid-word, section headings ("Card effects", "Power Training") stay readable, and the top bar moved "set all cards to" and "show all effects" into the Options panel.
- Support compare: each stat cell now shows a fill bar sized to its share of the best value in that row, so you can see which card is strongest at a glance. Hint skills and event skills are now color-coded, and the label column keeps a subtle shadow so it stays readable while scrolling wide comparisons.
- The support card comparison now shows a larger card image with just the character name in each column header, and that header stays pinned to the top while you scroll down through the stats.
- The Compare page is now a training simulator: instead of raw effect values, it shows the actual stat points each support card trains, side by side. Pick a scenario (URA / Aoharu / Make a New Track), facility level, and mood, then choose an uma to fill in its growth rates (all editable), and every card's column updates with what it would gain on each training. Toggle rainbow (friendship) training and whether off-specialty trainings show. Each card's raw effect values (friendship bonus, training effectiveness, stat bonuses, and so on) sit in the same table just above its training output, and shared links now carry the simulator settings too. Each training section is now marked with its type icon, and the hint / event skill rows have been dropped to keep the table focused on training output.
Fixed
- Race Planner: clicking a turn now reliably opens the race picker even when the planner is scrolled (the popover previously failed to appear once the page was tall enough to scroll).
v0.15.1
Jul 8, 2026Added
- Added a new dark color scheme themed after Mejiro Dober (teal and rose-pink on a wine-tinted near-black). Pick it under Settings > Dark theme.
Fixed
- Dark themes no longer flash in from a white screen on page load. The saved theme is now painted before the page renders.
v0.15.0
Jul 6, 2026Added
- Character pages now list the uma's other versions. A character page shows the uma's other character-card versions (costumes) as icons, matching what a support page already shows, so you can jump between an uma's cards from either place.
Changed
- Cross-reference cards now show a readable labelled tile. A uma's support cards and other card versions (on both character and support pages) now show the in-game icon with the card's name always visible beneath it, packed tightly into rows that fill the space, instead of the oversized art crop that ran together and was hard to read.
- Related cards are tucked into one collapsible section. A uma's other versions and its support cards now share a single card that starts collapsed, with the character cards and support cards shown as separate labelled groups once expanded, so the detail page stays tidy until you go looking for them. It now carries the same outlined border as the other panels on the page.
- Support card effects are now grouped and easier to scan. A support card's effects are sorted into labelled sections (training, head start, races, skills and hints, and so on) and shown as compact name-and-value tiles, instead of one flat striped list. The limit-break level is now chosen with buttons (LB0 to MLB) rather than a slider.
- The effects preview now starts at the copy you own. On a support card page, the limit-break preview opens on the level of the copy in your roster, so the numbers match what you have; cards you don't own still start at MLB.
- A skill's sources now read as tiles. The characters and support cards that grant a skill are shown as clickable tiles with the in-game icon, the name, and the source-type pills, so both lists share one consistent tile look (support cards previously had no icon).
- Support effects can now be compared against the copy you own. When a card is in your roster, the effects panel uses your owned limit break as the baseline and lets you preview a higher or lower one: each effect tile shows the previewed value tinted green when it gains and red when it loses, with a signed badge (for example +40) spelling out the change. Stats a higher limit break unlocks that your copy doesn't have yet are outlined and tagged NEW.
Fixed
- Pages no longer jump sideways when a scrollbar appears. The scrollbar space is now always reserved, so opening a detail page (or any content that turns the scrollbar on) no longer nudges the layout across.
- Stat bonuses no longer run off the screen on phones. A character's stat growth bonuses used to force all five into one row that overflowed a phone's width; they now wrap to fit the screen.
v0.14.0
Jul 6, 2026Added
- Search now recognises more community nicknames. Some match a whole uma: "temu opera" (T.M. Opera O) and "mambo" (Matikanetannhauser). Others point at one specific variant: "nyop" (New Year T.M. Opera O), "chalo" (Cheerleader King Halo), "xoguri" (Oguri Cap [Ashen Miracle]), "hallorice" (Halloween Rice Shower), "hallocreek" (Halloween Super Creek), "val flash" (Valentine Eishin Flash), and "smaru" (summer Maruzensky, character and support card).
- Character search now understands costume themes: type a theme like "summer", "halloween", or "anime" to find every card of that theme, or combine it with a name ("anime teio") to jump straight to that variant. Plain base costumes match "vanilla".
v0.13.0
Jul 4, 2026Added
- Phone and small-screen support (first pass). The app now adapts to narrow screens: a bottom tab bar (Home / Characters / Supports / Skills, plus a More menu for the tools and settings) replaces the sidebar, which used to stack on top of the page and push content down.
- Search now works on phones. The global search was previously hidden on small screens; it's now available from the top bar, and its results open in a full-width panel instead of a cramped box.
Changed
- The Aptitude Calculator now respects the +4 raise limit. Since an aptitude can only be raised up to 4 grades in-game, the target pickers no longer offer anything higher, lowering a source pulls an over-cap target back into range, and the conversion table stops at +4.
- Aptitudes now use the in-game grade icons. A character's aptitudes and the Aptitude Calculator both show the real S-to-G rank icons instead of plain letters. The character page lays them out in clean grouped tiles (Track, Distance, Style) that reflow to fit a phone screen, and the calculator picks grades from tidy icon dropdowns. Both used to overflow or look cramped on small screens.
- Filter panels open full-screen on phones. The Characters, Support Cards, and Deck Builder filter dialogs now fill the screen on a phone instead of opening as a small centered box.
- Tighter, tap-friendlier layout on small screens. Reduced page margins to give content more width, made buttons a comfortable tap size, removed the 300ms tap delay, and let the browse toolbar (search / sort / filters) wrap instead of overflowing off the edge.
- Simpler roster builder that works on phones. On phones the card you're rating shows on its own with its art sized to fit the screen (the previous/next card strip stays on desktop but is hidden on phones), so all the controls (the limit-break buttons and Previous/Next) stay in view. The keyboard-shortcut and refocus helper text has been removed, and the limit-break buttons are bigger and easier to tap on phones. Tapping a limit-break option still records it and moves on.
Fixed
- Aptitude Calculator uma picker no longer runs off the screen on phones. The dropdown of uma portraits used to overflow the right edge, clipping the third column of names; it now stays within the screen.
- Race Planner day picker now fits the screen on phones. Tapping a day used to open the race list anchored to your finger, often landing it partly off-screen; on small screens it now opens as a full-screen picker you can scroll and close.
- Cards and tiles no longer stay "lit up" after a tap on touchscreens. Hover highlights (the lift, glow, and border effects on cards, tiles, and menu rows) now only appear on devices with a mouse, so they don't get stuck on after tapping on a phone or tablet.
- "Uma Tools" wordmark no longer crowds the top bar on phones. The title next to the logo is now hidden on small screens as intended, leaving more room for search.
- Character list no longer scrolls sideways on phones. Long character names now cut off with an ellipsis instead of pushing the page wider than the screen.
- Bottom navigation bar stays put on phones. It no longer drifts or hides while scrolling the page (a side effect of the sideways scrolling above).
- The bottom bar's "More" menu now opens. Tapping "More" now brings up a bottom sheet of the tools and settings; it closes when you pick something or tap outside.
- Deck Builder card picker fits its panel on phones. The grid of support cards no longer spills outside the panel that's meant to contain it; the panel now grows to wrap every card.
v0.12.0
Jul 3, 2026Added
- Build decks from your own cards. The Deck Builder's card picker now has the same All / Collection / Owned switch as the Support Cards list. All is the plain catalog; Collection highlights the cards you own and greys the ones you're missing (still addable); Owned shows only the cards you own. Your choice is remembered when you navigate away and back.
- Added cards match the copies you own. While a Collection or Owned view is active, adding a card to the deck starts it at the limit break you actually own instead of always max, so the deck's stats reflect your real collection. Cards you don't own, and the plain All view, still assume max limit break.
Changed
- Owned pips show on picker cards. In the Deck Builder picker's Collection and Owned views, a card you own shows its limit break as diamond pips, matching the Support Cards list. A card that's already in the deck (or whose uma is) shows its deck status band instead.
- Stat filters score cards at the copy you own. While a Collection or Owned view is active, the match badge for a training-bonus filter shows the value the copy you actually own provides. A card that only reaches the filtered bonus at a higher limit break still shows up, but with an amber hint of the value and the limit break it needs (e.g. "+1 (LB4)"). Cards you don't own, and the plain All view, use max limit break.
Fixed
- Limit-break pips and stat badges no longer overlap. On an owned card that also matches a stat filter, the limit-break pips now sit along the very bottom of the art with the stat rows stacked cleanly above them, instead of the two overlays colliding in the corner.
v0.11.1
Jul 4, 2026Added
- Stat growth bonuses on character pages. A character card now shows its stat growth-rate bonuses (e.g. Tokai Teio +20% Speed / +10% Stamina), colour-coded per stat.
Changed
- Cleaner support card header. A support card page no longer repeats the rarity stars and type that are already shown on the card artwork, and it shows just the uma name and card name instead of the full bracketed title. Less clutter, no duplicated info.
- Consistent cross-reference tiles. The other-cards and support-card links on the character and support detail pages now use the same thumbnail tile style as the rest of the app, instead of the old pill chips that looked out of place.
Fixed
- Support card names no longer show twice. The card title dropped the uma name that was tacked onto the end (e.g. "[Tracen Academy] Special Week" now just reads "[Tracen Academy]"), so the name appears once. Card names are also centred on the support detail page and in the support list.
v0.11.0
Jul 2, 2026Added
- Your own card roster. You can now mark which support cards you actually own and how many copies (limit break) you have. Set it from a support card's page or the guided Build Roster page. Your roster is saved in your browser. Using it to build decks from just your own cards is coming next.
- All / Collection / Owned views. The Support Cards list has a three-way switch above it: All (the plain catalog), Collection (cards you own are highlighted and the ones you're missing are greyed), and Owned (only the cards you own).
- Build Roster page. A new guided page walks you through the support cards one at a time, in name order, showing the previous two and next two cards alongside so you can keep your place against your own collection. Use the left/right arrows to set a card's limit break (or Skip if you don't own it), Space to move on, Backspace to go back - or click. Coming back to the page resumes just past the last card you'd already added, and Start / Head / End buttons jump to the beginning, that resume point, or the last card. Reachable from the Tools nav, a support card's page, and the Deck Builder.
- Save, switch and share rosters. Settings now has a Roster section where you can name the roster you are editing, save named copies, and switch between them from a dropdown. A copy/paste share code lets you move a roster to another device or send it to someone; importing a code adds it as a new saved roster without touching the one you are on. Loading or switching warns first when the active roster has unsaved changes.
Changed
- Owned cards are marked on the art itself. In the Collection and Owned views, a card you own shows its limit break as diamond pips along the bottom-left (filled = copies you have), matching the in-game badge. Cards you're missing are greyed in the Collection view. Unreleased cards keep only their tag - they can't be owned yet, so they're never marked or greyed. Editing your roster moved to a support card's page and the Build Roster page; the list just shows what you own.
- Unreleased tag moved to the top centre on Support Cards tiles, so it clears the card-type icon.
Fixed
- Build Roster card no longer gets cut off. The card you are looking at now always shows in full: the limit-break buttons sit in a row instead of a tall column, and the card art shrinks to fit a short window or zoomed-in page instead of being clipped or scrolling out of view.
Added
- Richer character profiles. Character pages now show the in-game profile flavor: catchphrase, self-introduction, likes and dislikes, class, dorm, weight, shoe size, ear and tail quirks, and family note — alongside a prettier localized birthday and height, the Japanese name, and the card's global release date.
- Full raw skill data. A skill's "Raw skill data" panel now dumps every activation block unfiltered — the exact condition/precondition DSL, durations, cooldowns, and each effect's raw type id and value (including inherited variants).
Changed
- The character info panel hides fields the game doesn't provide instead of showing blank rows.
v0.10.1
Jul 2, 2026Changed
- Skill sources no longer list a card twice. On a skill page, a character or support card that grants the skill in more than one way (e.g. both Innate and Event, or both Hint and Event) now shows as a single row with a tag for each way, instead of a separate row per source.
v0.10.0
Jul 1, 2026Fixed
- Support Cards "newest" sort now uses the real release date instead of the internal card id, so the most recently released cards (across every rarity and type) appear first — matching the in-game banner order.
Added
- Sort ascending or descending. Every browse list (Characters / Support Cards / Skills) now has an arrow toggle next to the sort dropdown to flip the order.
- Always-available Reset. The browse lists now have a Reset button in the toolbar (no longer hidden until a filter is set) that clears the search and every filter and returns to the default sort.
Changed
- Character info now shows the essentials first. The character detail info card keeps the key facts (Japanese name, birthday, release, height) always visible and tucks the rest (measurements, voice, profile, real-life horse) behind a Show more toggle.
- Unified browse toolbars. The Characters, Support Cards, and Skills lists now share the same search bar, sort control, and filter/reset buttons, and behave consistently.
- Filters now stick for your session. Your search, sort, and filters on each browse list are remembered as you navigate to a card/skill and back (and across a page refresh), but reset when you open a new tab — they no longer persist forever.
- Browse lists now default to newest first (by release) instead of by name/rarity.
- Smarter search everywhere. The Characters browser now understands the same shorthand the Support Cards search already did — type an abbreviation like
ntr(Narita Top Road) orktb(Kitasan Black) and matching umas show up. - Find a unique skill by its owner. Searching the Skills browser for an uma's name now surfaces their unique skills — e.g.
teiofinds *Certain Victory* and *Sky-High Teio Step*. - Skill name abbreviations. Skill search (browser and navbar) now matches a skill's initials —
pocfinds *Professor of Curvature*,oylfinds *On Your Left*. - The navbar search (Ctrl/⌘ K) picks up both of the above: name abbreviations for characters and supports, and owner-name search for unique skills.
v0.9.2
Jul 2, 2026Fixed
- Link previews now work on every page. The Characters, Support Cards, Skills, Aptitude Calculator and Aim for the Stars pages were showing up blank when shared on Discord, Twitter and other sites - they now each have their own title, description and preview image.
v0.9.1
Jul 2, 2026v0.9.0
Jul 1, 2026Added
- Career mode in the Race Planner. A Career / Trackblazer toggle now sits next to the plan name. In Career mode you pick an uma and its career goals are overlaid on the turn grid:
- Mandatory career races are locked onto their turn (with the required finish - "Win", "Top 3", "Finish") and are added to your schedule automatically, so they count toward your totals without you placing them.
- Choice goals (e.g. the Oaks *or* the Derby) are highlighted on their turn for you to pick.
- Choice goals (e.g. the Oaks *or* the Derby) are highlighted on their turn for you to pick.
- Soft objectives show as pills - fan milestones ("≥ 12,000 Fans") and grade placements ("Place 3rd in 2 G1").
- The selected uma's icon now appears in the planner's search bar, and the selection can be cleared.
- Each scheduled race now shows the fan gain for winning it, alongside the existing skill-point gain.
Changed
- Career and Trackblazer now each keep their own saved plans and auto-saved working plan, so switching modes no longer mixes races between the two scenarios. Existing saved plans are migrated automatically.
- Shared plan links now carry the scenario and the selected uma, so a Career-mode plan reopens in Career mode with the right uma already picked.
- Update filters on the Skills browser - separate Updated and New chips narrow the list to skills whose conditions or effects were retuned, or that were added outright, in the latest game update. Pick either or both; skills are badged Updated or New on their tiles too.
- Each updated skill's page now shows a before → after of only the conditions and effects that changed, so you can see exactly what the update altered at a glance.
- A skill page now has a Simple / Detailed / Combined toggle for its activation conditions - plain English, the raw game condition, or both - applied to both the current mechanics and the before → after diff.
- The Skills browser now remembers your search, sort, and every filter (both the quick chips and the Filters dialog) as you navigate to a skill and back, and adds a Clear button to reset them all in one click.
Fixed
- A skill whose icon art hasn't been added yet (e.g. a brand-new skill from a game update) now shows a neutral placeholder instead of a broken image.
v0.8.0
Jul 1, 2026Fixed
- Recently released characters (Sweep Tosho, Air Shakur, and the costume Taiki Shuttle, Mejiro Dober, and Special Week cards) no longer go missing from the Characters browser. Whether a card counts as released on global is now read straight from the game data, so newly released cards show up immediately instead of waiting on a bundled list that could lag behind a banner.
Changed
- Sorting the Characters list by Newest now uses each card's actual global release date, so the most recently added characters come first.
v0.7.0
Jun 27, 2026Added
Cmd+K/Ctrl+Kkeyboard shortcut to focus the global search from anywhere.- Character icons in a skill's "From Characters" sources, replacing the plain text rows.
- This changelog - surfaced on the site at
/changelogand linked from the footer version.
Changed
- The Characters, Support Cards, and Skills filter dialogs now apply on confirm: edits are buffered while the dialog is open and only take effect when you press Apply; Cancel (or closing the dialog) reverts them.
